Morgan is celebrating 16 years as a stylist. She studied at Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy because she wanted a career where she could use her artistic style and share it with the world. In addition to working behind the chair, she is also a manager and a mentor to fellow stylists. She knows that staying current requires ongoing education, and she has helped shape educational programs within the salon. “Education keeps you from getting stagnant. We can all always learn something new,” she said recently.

Being a problem solver and working easily under pressure gives her a great advantage. She is motivated by the finished result she’s able to give each client and enjoys the creative process to get there. Extensions are a specialty, along with color, highlights, and haircuts. Morgan is passionate about animals, especially dogs, and has fostered many over the years, adopting a couple herself. Outside of the salon, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her little family.

With over a decade of experience behind the chair, Katrina has built a reputation for delivering custom cuts and stunning color treatments that not only enhanced beauty, but also promote confidence.

Known for her exceptional listening skills, Katrina is passionate about understanding each clients individual needs and preferences, ensuring that every hairstyle is a true reflection of their personality and lifestyle. When not behind the chair, Katrina enjoys exploring local culinary gems and is always ready to recommend the best restaurant for any occasion.

For Becca, becoming a stylist was a childhood dream. While it took her a while to get there, she has a pretty exciting journey. Before joining the Revive team, Becca was an Intelligence Analyst for the United States Air Force. Yep, we think it’s pretty badass too. After, she retired from the Air Force, she enrolled at the Aveda Institute in Cranston, RI. Where she worked to hone in her skills and excelled at cutting and finishing work. After school, she came to Ky Michaels Salon/Revive Salon and appreciated our in house training program where she became proficient in all aspects of hairstyling. Becca keeps us organized and running efficiently. There is no job too big for her. When Becca isn’t at the salon, you can find her outside enjoying nature and taking her pups, Folk and Maui for walks on the beach, inside baking or crafting.

We aren’t sure what came first, Kathryn’s love of theater or hairstyling.  But we are sure glad that the two go hand in hand and compliment each other so well.  Kathryn has been involved in theater since she was five years old and is still performing in theaters all over at Rhode Island.  A graduate of Empire Beauty School, she is kind, extremely detail oriented and organized.  When not behind the chair she loves cooking, calligraphy, singing, dancing and crafts.  Just ask her to show you her mini bouquets. Kathryn’s personality can be described as bubbly yet focused. When she’s not beautifying her guests hair, She loves spending time with her friends and family. A fun fact about Kathryn, she loves pens, paper crafts and just about anything creative!

Leslie’s journey into hairstyling was born from a childhood passion for makeup and hair.  Licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Leslie's career began at Toni&Guy in Braintree, Massachusetts, and has evolved over two years.  At Revive, Leslie thrives on crafting edgy cuts and flawless blowouts, but her true joy comes from making clients feel beautiful inside and out. If Leslie wasn’t creating beautiful hair behind the chair she would love being a music teacher.  She advises aspiring stylists to embrace teamwork and continuous learning.  Outside of work, Leslie enjoys singing, gaming, and attending concerts. Her colleagues describe her as kind-hearted and always ready to bring a smile.  Leslie's goals include growing as a stylist and supporting animal welfare causes.

Ashley is one of the newest shining stars at Revive Salon, bringing a blend of creativity, compassion, and a deep passion for making others feel their best. A proud graduate of Toni&Guy, she took on the impressive feat of completing full-time hair school while juggling two jobs, proving from day one that she's got the drive and dedication to thrive in this industry. Before stepping into the world of beauty, Ashley worked as a barista at a bakery, where her love for crafting the perfect cup translated seamlessly into her current favorite service: blonding. Though new behind the chair, Ashley’s perfectionist nature and background as a competitive dancer (yes, she trained with the Rockettes!) show that she’s no stranger to hard work, precision, and grace under pressure.

Whether she’s listening to clients’ stories or helping them transform their look, Ashley finds inspiration in connection and kindness. She’s known by her colleagues as quiet, goofy, and yes tall, and by her clients as thoughtful, kind, and genuinely funny. When she’s not at the salon, you’ll likely find Ashley cooking up something delicious, tending to her garden, or baking on a cozy Sunday morning. She dreams of traveling the world, and in the next year, she’s focused on continuing to grow her craft.

Ashley’s motto? Work hard, have fun, and always treat people with kindness.

Reyna Mercado has always had a passion for hair. From bleaching her sister’s hair to perfecting her mom’s roots as a teenager, she knew she had a knack for making people feel confident and beautiful. Despite her love for hairstyling, Reyna initially pursued a career in teaching, dedicating 3.5 years to helping kids learn and grow. But something was missing—her true passion. With courage and determination, she contacted a cosmetology school and enrolled at Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy (now Collective Academy). She hasn’t looked back since.

With a little over a year behind the chair, Reyna’s favorite service to perform is blowouts, where her confidence truly shines. She’s also skilled at applying roots and foiling and is always working to improve her craft. Her journey hasn’t been without challenges, but graduating cosmetology school and navigating the search for the perfect salon taught her resilience and perseverance. Reyna’s career is fueled by her desire to help others, whether through teaching or creating stunning hairstyles. She finds inspiration in seeing her clients leave her chair with smiles on their faces and newfound confidence. Her colleagues describe her as sweet, caring, and incredibly helpful—traits she brings to every interaction. Outside the salon, Reyna enjoys scary movies, beach trips, gym sessions, concerts, and dancing her heart out. She’s also a fan of R&B, indie music and loves to color in her downtime. With a quirky talent for saying the alphabet backward and a knack for parallel parking, Reyna’s personality is as vibrant as her hairstyling.

Her advice for aspiring stylists? Never be afraid to ask questions, stay calm in any storm, and always engage with everyone who walks through the door. Reyna is happiest when making others smile and hopes to be remembered as one of the nicest, most helpful people they’ve ever met.

From childhood antics of doll haircuts to blossoming into a talented hairstylist, Mia Ruggieri's journey to the salon chair has been fueled by a passion for creativity and connecting with people. Her story is one of perseverance, self-discovery, and a commitment to making others feel beautiful.  Mia's love affair with hairstyling began early on, as she found joy in transforming her dolls' hair into works of art this helped Mia to embark on a path that led her to the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy, where she honed her skills and unleashed her creativity.  After graduating, Mia dove into the salon world, exploring different environments until she found her home at Revive Salon. Between the welcoming atmosphere and the camaraderie of the team, Mia knew she had found her salon home.  Her favorite service to perform is highlighting, where she gets to blend her artistic vision with her clients' desires, leaving them feeling radiant and confident. Mia's talents extend beyond the salon chair; she's a former hockey player, equestrian competitor, and aspiring artist. She finds joy in the transformative power of her work, bringing beauty and confidence to her clients.

Emily London, who to us at Revive is simply and affectionately called London, is the first face you will see upon entering the salon, and probably the last before you leave. She keeps everyone’s schedule and appointments coordinated among other tasks. She makes sure we all have what we need to be Rhode Island’s Best.  Not only do the stylists depend on her being the heartbeat, we know our clients do too, because we hear it again and again. London who is a stylist herself, knows and thoroughly understands the technical end of being behind the chair, but prefers the business side of things. We here at Revive quickly saw how talented she is at marketing, scheduling, and doing what it takes to keep the salon successful, and thriving. In her free time, you can find her out in the fresh air playing with her dogs.
